Welcome to The Style Store, which has finally come to fruition since its conception over a coffee table several months ago.  My friend and I were discussing the arduous process of high street buying and the benefits of shopping online, which soon gave rise to the initial idea for this site. 

The Style Store has a vast range of labels but it stands unique in debuting international designers formerly without a UK outlet for their collections.  Our brands hail from Australia, Bali, Thailand, and Hong Kong, not forgetting London.           

It took me ample time to source these labels by scouring fashion week shows, trawling magazines and keeping alert to new buzz names on the fashion strip. I then formulated a winning mix of both labels retailed exclusively to us in the UK and familiar household names.  The key to any successful fashion website is in the selection and we feel confident ours is a distinct blend. 

The technical side of designing the website was not quite such familiar territory for me but was facilitated by the help of our patient web designer who I could direct our ideas through.  The result is The Style Store, a refreshingly clean site in appearance that is crucially easy to navigate.  My instinct was that if our site was clogged up with too many products our buyers would get exasperated and easily distracted.  The challenge online is to engage surfers so they don’t shoot straight by.
